Provides overview of legal and ethical issues relevant to business decision-making and planning and the government regulations of business. If you are transferring into UHCL with your Texas Common Core complete, the general business degree can be completed in fully online. If you are starting out as a first time in college student, some of your Texas Common Core courses may require face to face classes. Students may choose from a broad range of upper level business courses creating a degree diverse and applicable to several business fields upon graduation.

Academic Departments

Time Value of Money is applied to decision making in business and personal finance. Additionally, students learn common valuation techniques and financial planning. The program also offers an online B.B.A. option, which gives students the opportunity to take concentrated courses in 7-week intervals. The college experience wouldn't be complete without UHD's state-of-the-art recreation center, club teams and intramural sports. All of which allow students to stay in shape, show off their UHD Gator spirit, bond through teamwork and just plain have some fun.

The Online Track requires students to successfully complete 33 credit hours.Students must select 11 courses from the following list of approved business coursework based on the student's interests. The hottimes.ru major requires completion of an overall average GPA of 2.0 within the major coursework and CSU requires an overall GPA of 2.0 in order to file for graduation. The On-Campus Track provides a specific and flexible business educational experience. The student's chosen transfer institution determines the mathematics courses to complete in order to be a successful transfer candidate. Students completing MATH 162 and MATH 171 will be best prepared to transfer to baccalaureate programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business . Students should consult with an advisor or their intended transfer institution for additional guidance.

The Online Track provides a flexible, online business education experience which supports full-time or part-time working professionals. Students can select business courses from a variety of business disciplines such as real estate, marketing, management, accounting and additional business areas. Students in the general business major are entering a global field where information, economics and people collide. You will develop the skills in the role computer-based information systems play in organizations, how to assess global, domestic and industry trends and how to manage people, information, technology and more to produce goods and services. You will have a well-rounded business education touching on accounting, business law, computing, economics, marketing and statistics.
